There's a lady who works tirelessly in our church. She has been a Catechist for over 15 years and is also on our Parish Council. As a Catechist she has touched many young lives. In addition, she has a daughter with autism, which doesn't leave her much time to do all that she does for our parish. She has raised 3 children and has helped raise 3 more.
She doesn't have a selfish bone in her body and she teaches with a very caring and kind heart. I assisted her last year and know this to be a definite fact.
As a member of our Parish Council, for our Annual Pot Luck Luncheon, she still managed to help in the kitchen and make arrangements to have beautiful vases filled with springtime flowers. The vases were also beautiful!
She's also supportive and encouraging to those who work along with her. We definitely know she's an asset to our parish and so is her husband and her grandson, whom she inspired to get involved I believe.
