Above and Beyond

I know two people who live across the street from the church. They are often at the church doing maintenance work or working on the parsonage or the church building . They are people that don't have to be told what to do as they see something that needs to be done, and they do it without recognition (often) or complaint. They go above and beyond and live to serve. During this past Christmas season, our church had set a date to hang the greens and they were going to be out of town on that Sunday, so the Saturday before, they were at church putting up a few of the decorations so they could help in some way. Whether it's bringing rolls or treats for fellowship or doing Sunday School devotions each week, they are here. Raking, hauling fallen branches away, it's being done. Special thanks to Judy and Marlon for their work.
