I would like to nominate Victor and Bonnie Plockelman for Steward(s) of the Month. This couple are each in their own way exemplery stewards for their Lord.
Victor is the chairman of our congregation, and also the Church Extension Fund representative. Bonnie is one of the organists for worship services, and is also the chairman of the Board of Stewardship.
They have spear-headed the painting of our church, inside and out, all of the cleaning duties for the building and grounds, and now that we have a new Pastor they also took charge of getting the parsonage ready for our new family. Victor was even one of the men that went out to Aberdeen, SD to help the Pastor and his family make the move here to Ladysmith.
Neither one of these people take any compensation whatsoever for the work that they do for our church. They have gone out of their way to be sure that our church's needs are met and that things are in good working order. A true stewardship couple!
