Beverley is my grandmother's nurse. My grandmother is 98 years old and suffering from Alzheimers disease; it's been so very hard on our family. We found Beverly through a flyer we posted at church. She was working for another family taking care of an elderly woman who had passed away. Bev was in church praying that day that she saw our little flyer ... and called us. She has become a part of the family these last three years. Always, taking care of Grandma ... and at times us. I have to admit, it's really hard when she doesnt know who you are ... and Bev is there with a cup of coffee and her kind words when Grandma has a bad day. She is also there for the good days, with a smile, and a prayer for all of us. Nurses is general are stewards, but Bev goes above and beyond. One time, she hadn't noticed I came in, I over heard her reading the bible to my grandmother. I sat and listened in that day for over an hour. My Uncle had come in, and much to my surprise, he told me about how she reads to her from the bible every single day, at 3 o'clock. Bev cooks, cleans, tells stories, laughs, and shares her life with my grandmother and my entire family. She is a true person of God!
Thanks for letting me tell you her story.
